Ayon kay Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, ito ang magiging patakaran ng lungsod sa pagtugis ng ipinagbabawal na palitan ng ilegal na droga.

“Drug pushers and dealers have no space in Manila,” ani ni Mayor Isko sa isang Press forum.

Tinanong din si Mayor Isko kung paano niya sisiguraduhin ang pag bawas ng bilang ng mga namamatay dahil sa pagsasagawa ng kontra-droga. Sagot niya, “Yong crimes and killings, I cannot guarantee kasi it can happen anywhere in this world."

“With regard to the policy and guidance ang sabi ko simple lang: Habulin lahat ang nagbebenta droga,” dagdag niya.

Bagamat, isinaad din ni Mayor Isko Moreno na kailangang isaalang-alang ang karapatang pantao ng mga drug suspects sa kampanya laban sa ilegal na droga.

“Igalang ang karapatang pantao, nino? Ng mga suspect,” ani ni Mayor Isko Moreno.

“Gamutin [at] tulungan ng estado ang mga biktima ng mga nagbebenta, pati yung mga adik, yung mga tamang hinala. Gamutin. Kalingain ng estado [at] ng syudad,” dagdag niya.
