Manila, Philippines – Pinagbibitiw ni Hugpong ng Pagbabago chairperson at Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte si Bayan Muna Rep. Eufemia Cullamat dahil sa patuloy nitong pag-atake sa Department of Education at Armed Forces of the Philippines.

Ani Duterte, ang gobyerno ang nagbabayad sa tanggapan ni Cullamat gayundin sa mga paaralang pinapasukan diumano ng mga NPA school.

“The government pays for her office. The same government that has helped hundreds if not thousands of IP students compared to the NPA school they call Salugpungan,” giit ni Mayor Sara.

Naunang binatikos ni Cullamat si Mayor Sara dahil sa umano’y pagbibigay ng maling impormasyon sa publiko ukol sa Lumad o Salugpungan School gayung ito ay itinayo ng iba’t ibang organisasyon upang makaiwas sa diskriminasyon, kahirapan at militarisasyon ang mga komunidad sa Southern Mindanao.

Ngunit naunang ibinulgar ni Mayor Sara na nagpasa ng isang resolusyon ang Davao City council na humihikayat sa Department of Education na putulin na at kanselahin ang permit to operate na inisyu ng 11 Salugpungan schools sa Davao City.

Ito ay dahil nabigo umano ang mga opisyal ng nabanggit na paaralan nan a mag-isyu ng academic records ng mga estudyante.

“The City Government conducted due diligence in inquiring into the activities of Salugpungan schools before coming up with a CPOC resolution. The decision was based on facts, not on a whim or rumors as critics and anti-government forces want the public to believe.”

Hindi umano magandang tingnan na si Cullamat ay tila tagapagtanggol ng komunista.

“Siya dapat ang mahiya, di nga siya nagbabasa ng Phil. Constitution,” dagdag pa ni Duterte.
