On Saturday, 50 members of the New People's Army (NPA) were shocked when they were knocked down from a 227 kilos of b0mbs using the modern F-50 Jets of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). Through the Joint Task Force STORM, the army conducted a surgical strike at the hideout of c0mmunist r3bels in Las Navas, Northern Samar. “The Joint Task Force Storm under the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) central command and the Philippine Army orchestrated the joint operations to locate and annihilate the said NPA group, which had been monitored doing extortion from the communities in the province,” said Captain Reynaldo C. Aragones Jr, spokesman of the Philippine Army’s 8th Infantry Division.
This was the first military use of the FA-50 jets to sh0ot down the NPAs. “The AFP’s modernization efforts had been put to effective use and will continue to be employed in the neutralization of the Communist Terrorist Group in Eastern Visayas,” sadded Major General Pio Q. Diñoso III of 8th Infantry Division (ID).

They found from the hideout of the NPA civilian backpacks, military-type backpacks, hammocks, bags of gma rice, foods, sacks of land mines, mobile phones, Com radio, computers, landline testers, flash drives, SIM cards, external drives, miscellaneous blasting caps, rolls of detonating wire, live ammunition, magazine for carbine, improvised grenades, anti-tank land mines, assorted medical supplies and subv3rsive documents. According to the military, they found traces of bl0od on the areas where the NPA escaped. As we recalled, President Rodrigo Roa Duterte ordered the AFP to abolish the NPA in 2018 last year. “We are not into a crime prevention pati yang pulis kasali na. It’s neutralization ang atin.
